Highway Driving School
Intensive driving lessons / courses can be catered for, but are not suitable for everyone. An assessment lesson is required to ascertain candidates' suitability for an intensive driving course.
Intensive driving courses tend to be more suitable for converting someone from driving a motorcycle to car, or for those needing a refresher driving course after taking a break from driving lessons, and know the basics. It can also be a useful way for preparing for a re-test if someone was not fully prepared for a first one, or if someone has a short notice / cancellation driving test booked.
Due to the waiting times to pass a theory test and get a date for a practical driving test, it is usually less pressured to take a semi-intensive approach for two to six weeks. We would recommend not more than four hours driving lessons a day, to be split as follows: two hours am - minimum of an hour break - two hours pm.
More practice than this can be counter-productive as concentration levels decrease. (even in our all new mini.)
